POLICIES, TERMS & CONDITIONS

The procedure will not begin until both the Client (Individual receiving services) and Practitioner (Acting Member of Espoir Collective LLC, Espoir Studios LLC, and/or Espoir Permanent Makeup) have agreed upon the shape and color that accommodates the lips & skin tone. Please make sure you are completely satisfied before the procedure begins. 

**COLOR RESTRICTIONS: For Dark Lip Neutralizations, color selections are limited to your unique lip pigmentation. Inability to reach an agreement on a suitable color selection will result in cancellation of your appointment, loss of non-refundable retainer fee, and restriction from future appointments with Espoir Collective LLC, Espoir Studios LLC, and/or Espoir Permanent Makeup.

**SHAPE RESTRICTIONS: The Practitioner is only able to tattoo within your lip skin and vermillion border. We will only tattoo 1-2mm onto your actual skin (i.e. tattooing the pores, hair follicles, oil glands, etc.) for the sole purpose of reaching symmetry. Under no circumstances will the practioner dramatically overline the lip shape any further than 1-2mm. Inability to reach an agreement on a suitable shape will result in cancellation of your appointment, loss of non-refundable retainer fee, and restriction from future appointments with Espoir Collective LLC, Espoir Studios LLC, and/or Espoir Permanent Makeup.

Everyone is different and can respond to both topical/primary and secondary numbing differently. How much you bleed will affect your sensitivity level and the outcome of your results; Therefore, additional sessions may be needed to achieve the desired results. 

Cosmetic tattoos require a minimum of two sessions. 

Results and outcomes may vary due to the individual’s skin type, blood type, lifestyle, use of medications, pre-care, and post-care.

Non-Refundable Retainer Fee Policy

All service appointment bookings require a $150 non-refundable retainer deposit fee.

The retainer deposit is required for all bookings in order to secure the appointment time/date. 

The $150 payment will be applied & deducted from your total service appointment cost. 

All fees and payments made in relation to Espoir Collective LLC, Espoir Studios LLC, and/or Espoir Permanent Makeup services and offers are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Payment Policy

The remaining balance due for your service is to be paid in full on the appointment date.

Accepted Forms of Payment: Card, Venmo, PayPal

Client Eligibility Policy
Failure to thoroughly read, acknowledge, and follow client eligibility prior to/on appointment date will result in cancellation or rescheduling of appointment date with loss of non-refundable retainer fee. A new non-refundable retainer fee will be required to book a new appointment. 

No Show Policy

No call, no show will result in forfeiture of your non-refundable retainer fee. Rebooking will require full payment for your service upon booking. 

Retainer Deposit Fee Transfer Policy

Rescheduling using your Paid Retainer Deposit Fee will only be allowed to transfer appointments ONCE.
After your 1st reschedule, a new non-refundable retainer fee is required to book a new appointment and your old retainer fee is forfeited.

Reschedule and Cancellation Policy

A 48-hour notice is absolutely required for rescheduling/cancellations in order for the non-refundable retainer deposit fee to remain intact for future bookings. The non-refundable booking fee will be held by Espoir Collective LLC and/or Espoir Studios LLC, with an expiry date of 1 year from the day the payment was made on the retainer deposit fee, NOT date of appointment. 

Failure to notify us within 48 hours prior to your appointment will result in the loss of your appointment and your paid non-refundable retainer deposit fee will be voided/forfeited. 

A new non-refundable retainer deposit fee payment will be required to book a new appointment.

Confirmation Policy 

You must confirm your appointment by completing the online Consent Form 24 hours BEFORE your appointment date/time. 

Failure to complete the Consent Form by 24 hours prior to your appointment will result in the loss of your appointment and your paid non-refundable retainer deposit fee will be voided/forfeited. A new non-refundable retainer deposit fee payment will be required to book a new appointment. 

Late Policy

15 minutes late: You will be charged $25. 

25 minutes late: Your appointment will be canceled with forfeiture of retainer fee. A new non refundable retainer deposit fee will be required to reschedule.

No Guest Policy

No additional guests are allowed to the appointment and in the studio. Spouses, children, drivers, pets, etc. are also not allowed inside.

If someone is giving you a ride, they must drop you off or wait in the car. 

If you need a translator, please notify us BEFORE the appointment date. 

No Refund Policy

All services and bookings offered by Espoir Collective LLC, Espoir Studios LLC, and/or Espoir Permanent Makeup are completely NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstances. Due to the skin type variations, we cannot assure a 100% desired outcome for all clients nonetheless.

Every individual’s skin retains permanent makeup tattoo pigments and inks differently; therefore, we cannot guarantee any results of 100% expected outcomes to our customers under any circumstances.

Nonetheless, we will always do our best to work with you and your skin to achieve desired results.

By scheduling this appointment— whether completed by self-booking online or approved booking done by Espoir Collective LLC, Espoir Studios LLC, and/or Espoir Permanent Makeup, I certify that I have thoroughly read and followed the instructions in the document provided above. Client Eligibility

Contraindications: Permanent cosmetic tattooing procedures are not recommended if any of the contraindications listed below apply to you. Please consult with your physician prior to booking.

• Must be 18+ years old
• Cannot have Lip Fillers or Botox around lip area (chin, nose, cheek, jaw, etc.) 1.5 months before or after the the procedure
• Cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding 
• Cannot be allergic to anesthetics (unless you want to do the procedure completely numb-free), tattoo inks, needles, or pigments
• Cannot be undergoing chemotherapy within the past 6 months
• Cannot be undergoing any antibiotic treatment course
• Cannot have been on or taken any antibiotic treatments within the past 2 weeks
• Cannot have current bacterial or viral infections 
• Cannot have any canker sores, cold sores, cuts, pimples, or open wounds on the lips on the day of procedure
• Cannot be undergoing Accutane treatments or Steroids within the past year
• Cannot have Hepatitis B/C, HIV, AIDS, STD, STI, or any other risk factors for blood borne pathogen exposure, or any other communicable disease
• Cannot be epileptic or prone to seizures 
• Cannot suffer from keloid or hypertrophic scarring on or near the procedure area
• Cannot have a history of allergies to makeup and pigmentation 
• Cannot develop infections easily
• Cannot have diabetes
• Cannot have a previous lip tattoo that is too dark to be corrected or covered up
• Cannot be prescribed or taking blood thinning medications 
• Cannot be hemophiliac
• Cannot have healing disorders 
• NOTE: Clients are more sensitive during their menstrual cycle. Avoid scheduling an appointment close to or during your menstrual cycle.

Espoir Collective LLC, Espoir Studios LLC, and/or Espoir Permanent Makeup has the right to refuse service to anyone, at any time, for any given reason.
